Collection & Delivery of Magazine Collections

Magazine collections are by definition heavy and bulky things, and the difficulty of transportation will almost always be a major consideration for anyone browsing the adverts in this section.

People not able to collect their purchases in person need not despair though as many courier companies offer cost-effective delivery services specifically for large and heavy items. These services can be booked online, with the courier collecting the items directly from the seller (and of course deliver straight to the buyer), meaning that the whole process is hassle-free for both parties. The seller is of course required to suitably box-up the items in advance though, and print-off and attach a bar-coded label from the website where the collection is booked.

Since the job of boxing-up items does require a bit of work (especially if multiple boxes are involved) it’s helpful for the buyer to know in advance whether the seller is happy to carry-out this task, so the seller is asked to indicate this when placing their advert.

Likewise it’s important to know whether booking (and of course paying for) the courier service will be the responsibility of the buyer or the seller, so the two parties should clarify this between themselves before a purchase is agreed.
